Zurich, Switzerland (01.03.2016) – Quartal Financial Solutions (QFS), Europe’s leading provider for commission, fee billing and revenue management solutions announced today the planned release of Quartal COMMISSION / FEE MANAGER Release 9.1. Quartal has invested more than 20 percent of its revenue in research and product development and has successfully grown its customer base with some of the industry’s most prestigious clients. This latest release adds a variety of new features and enhancements to Quartal’s market leading products including functionality, performance and usability enhancements.

Significant new features and functionalities in Release 9 include:

  • Payables Based on Receivables, a new module that performs a pro-rata distribution of received amounts where this differs from the expected receivable amount previously calculated. The module is specifically targeted for use in Fund Distribution scenarios.
  • Initial release of a Service Fee Module which extends the existing data model and calculation engine to support complex transaction based fees in a standard product.
  • Initial release of a re-engineered calculation engine that removes the reliance on Oracle processing by using .NET technology. The .NET Calculation Engine is designed to be even more efficient, performant and scalable than the existing technology solution.
  • A Data Integration Framework that provides tools to simplify the integration between client systems and Quartal COMMISSION / FEE MANAGER. The module provides an integrated framework based on the Talend ETL open-source software.
  • An upgrade of the Quartal User Interface to use the latest DevExpress technology which provides performance enhancements and new usability features.
  • The Anonymisation Manager is a new feature that provides a mechanism to easily remove client identifying information from Quartal database tables when required for support or testing purposes.
  • Release of a new architecture to improve workflow and the performance of user actions. The Multi-Node Task Server re-architects the existing task server to support multi-threaded capability.

Version 9.1 is expected to be available to production clients as of 31st March 2016.
